TimeShift FM plays internet radio on your phone. It has no account and no app server.
While a station is playing, the app keeps a rolling audio buffer on this phone, up to 10 minutes. Older audio is overwritten. The buffer is not uploaded. Clips you save, favorite stations, the language you pick, and whether ads were removed stay on the phone.
Station names and stream addresses are requested from the public Radio Browser directory when you open Explore or search. Playing a station connects this phone to that station’s own stream. TimeShift FM does not run those streams.
Until you buy ad removal, TimeShift FM shows a Google AdMob banner at the bottom of the screen. A button in Settings, “Buy me a coffee,” can play an optional rewarded video. AdMob may use the Android advertising ID to show and measure ads. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. Buying “Remove ads” turns off the banner on that phone and opens the 10-minute rewind.
Ad removal is a one-time Google Play in-app product (remove_ads). Google Play processes the payment. TimeShift FM stores a local flag and checks Play to restore that purchase.
TimeShift FM does not ask for your name, email, location, photos, contacts, or microphone. It does not use Firebase or any other analytics SDK.
TimeShift FM is not directed at children under 13.
