EntityRadar is an offline entertainment app. It has no account and no app server. Sensor readings are drawn on the phone and are not uploaded.
While the app is on screen it may read the magnetometer, the connected Wi-Fi signal strength, and, if you allow it, cellular signal strength and the microphone. Audio is used only to draw frequency bars. It is not recorded to a file. Cellular access is used only to read signal strength in dBm, not your phone number. When you leave the app, sensing stops.
The camera stays off until you turn it on. The preview is shown only on the phone. If a person is visible, the app draws a stick figure from an on-device pose model. Those joint positions are not saved and are not uploaded. The pose model may download once from Google Play services.
If you tap Snap, the app takes a photo with the camera and saves one image, including the radar overlay, to the Pictures/EntityRadar album on your device. That image is not uploaded by EntityRadar.
The app stores whether you bought ad removal and which radar themes you unlocked. These settings stay on the phone. Ad removal is also checked with Google Play so a reinstall can restore the purchase.
Until you buy ad removal, EntityRadar shows a Google AdMob banner. A button in Settings can play an optional rewarded video. AdMob may use the Android advertising ID to show and measure ads. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. Buying “High-performance sensor mode” turns off the banner on that phone. The optional support video is still available if you choose to play it.
Ad removal is a one-time Google Play in-app product (remove_ads). Google Play processes the payment. EntityRadar stores a local flag that the banner should stay off, and it checks Play to restore that purchase.
EntityRadar does not ask for your name, email, contacts, or location. It does not use Firebase or any other analytics SDK. It does not sell personal information.
EntityRadar is not directed at children under 13.
